Palo Santo

Instructions: Open a window or door. Light palo santo stick and blow out flame once the wood has begun to smoke. Move the stick in a circular motion in the space that you wish to cleanse the energy. Clearly state your intention as you smudge.  Palo Santo may also be used to cleanse one's aura by dragging the smoke around the outline of one's body or over chakra points. And finally, this item can also be lit and placed on a compatible surface as it smokes- like an incense.
